We are like-minded professionals looking to help nourish and educate the community. I have been passionate about wellness/fitness since 2016. I believe realistic programming, consistency, and proper recovery is key to reaching your goals while improving overall mental and physical health. I coach with the knowledge that every body is different and has unique needs. And everybody deserves to enjoy movement! I want to teach people that exercise can be something to look forward to rather than something they “have to do”. I utilize resistance training as well as mobility, plyometric, and cardiovascular work to help clients reach their unique goals. 1 on 1 or group training. I have worked with a wide range of individuals including people of all ages and abilities, always finding ways to make workouts both fun and challenging!
Hello! My name is Patrick Moran. My fitness journey began at age 17 when I looked down at the scale and it read 260lbs. I was unhappy and ready for change. I started by changing my diet and understanding what I should and should not be putting in my body. Then my mother convinced me to go to a hot yoga class, I was hooked! The weight started falling off and I was happy. The next step in my journey was to gain muscle. So I went to the gym, and tried every type of training under the sun. Bodybuilding, powerlifting, crossfit, functional exercises, bodyweight stuff. I tried it all. I had an issue though, I had a lot of back pain. I tried to fix it with every conceivable measure. I would foam roll for hours, stretch, yoga, chiropractor, massage, cryotherapy, physical therapy, everything!! At the peak of my pain I found a trainer who introduced me to the world of biomechanics. I began to train with respect to the gait pattern of a human. My back pain slowly went away. Now I want to share this with the world
Kelly was first introduced to yoga in 2014. As her practice grew she began to feel a pull to learn more about yoga. In 2018, Kelly embarked on her first yoga training through the One Voice Teacher program. Through this training Kelly discovered not only a deeper connection to her own yoga practice but also a passion for teaching! Her path lead her through other trainings such as aerial yoga, reiki, integrated energy therapy, and her most recent addition of crystal sound bowl therapy. As Kelly continues to grow so does her offerings. Her class include a balanced combination of yoga flow, breath, and meditation. Kelly's mission is to be a bridge to self discovery and spread unconditional love. Kelly looks forward to your warm company in class.
Daniel Ortega has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2005. His career started with focusing on relaxation and reducing the stress of his clients. What started as helping people relax evolved into the desire to improve his clients’ quality of life. Daniel believes by educating his clients on the how and why of their physical discomforts they can effectively recover and maintain a higher level of relief.
After experiencing much success, Daniel decided it was time to create his own Massage practice. Daniel Ortega Muscular Therapy was created in 2013 in Natick Massachusetts. Utilizing multiple massage therapy modalities, assisted stretching, strength training, and at times using cupping, percussive devices, and mindfulness, Daniel tailors sessions to your specific needs/abilities and with the goal of long-term relief.
Unfortunately, In 2017 Daniel suddenly became a full time single father to 3 under the age of 4. Being the sole provider for his children and sole proprietor of the business was an impossible task. After much consideration it was decided the business would close and he would care for his family.
Now, with his children older, skills enhanced, and passion renewed, Daniel finds himself joining Intuitive Wellness as the Head of Muscular Therapy. He couldn’t be more excited to join a team of like-minded individuals and assist in the growth of your wellness community. He will be creating Stretch Therapy, Massage Therapy and Muscular Therapy programs all geared towards helping you live your best life.
Michele is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher as well as a Balanced Athlete certified instructor. She has studied with amazing teachers like: Rolf Gates, Judith Lasater, Jacqui Bonwell, Johnny Gillespie and Dima Bosko. Specializing in vinyasa and slow flow yoga she offers a class that is available to students of all abilities. Based in Framingham, MA Michele teaches both public and private yoga classes. What inspired her to start teaching yoga is the inner peace she found while practicing for the past 20 years. She hopes to teach her students, through yoga, how to find peace and calm in their lives off their mats.
Nissa Diantina-Weiss is a 200 hour Yoga certified teacher, with a background in Teaching languages, dance and theater. She is passionate about biomechanical movement and human/body interaction. As Yoga offers the perfect framework to dwell into functional body and mind engagement, Nissa uses a wide range of tools to facilitate a safe space for an individual practice. Nissa uses meditation, vinyasa flow, hot and power yoga, animal movement, stretch and light manual therapy as the cornerstones of her framework. Nissa has been teaching in different studios in the MetroWest Area for the past 3 years, and has been practicing yoga for over 15. She has 4 kids, married to a yogi and resides in Framingham.
With roots in both Wisconsin and Connecticut, Marissa Jax (she/they) has been a mover and shaker since she was a toddler. Marissa graduated in 2015 BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography with a minor in Psychology at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Marissa has had extensive experience choreographing, performing, and teaching both during and out of college. The styles of dance that Marissa teaches are creative movement, modern, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and any blend of technique while centralizing the healing and resourcing of the body. She also has experience teaching both neurotypical and neurodiverse populations ages 2 to adult. Currently, MJax is attending Lesley University pursuing her longtime dream of obtaining a Masters in Dance and Movement Therapy. Intertwining trauma informed care, a social justice lens, and dance technique, Marissa diligently provides and facilitates accessible and holistic dance education.
I am an Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner and Madhubani Folk Artist. I am certified in Pulse Diagnosis, Marma Therapy, Vaastu and Pranayama under Pioneer Dr Vasant Lad. I am also a Certified Professional Herbalist. I offer Ayurvedic Consultation, Marma Pressure Point Therapy, Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis and Ayurvedic cooking and educational using Ayurvedic principles based on five elements and their combination. I incorporate integrative approach with diet, lifestyle, pranayama, meditation, and Mantra(sound) therapy in healing methods. I believe that by empowering body-mind-soul connection, one can achieve balanced health and wellness.
